Welcome to Hooked-on
Hooked-on means “to become engrossed.”
Having passed 50 myself, with my 60th birthday in sight, I started this blog as a personal reminder to stay engaged. As I age, the things that truly captivate me or hold my interest seem to diminish. Interestingly, writing articles often leads me to reexamine things, ponder the reasons behind unconscious behaviors, and reaffirm my perspectives. This process is fascinating, and despite my inexperience, I’ve kept updating my blog posts.
While fashion, hobbies, and lifestyle form the main content, I write based on the theme of things and objects that can be cherished long-term. For fashion articles, I prefer pieces that inspire affection, stand the test of time, or showcase the maker’s wisdom and ingenuity over flashiness or trends, exploring them from my own perspective.
One of the joys of fashion is the endless puzzle-like combinations you can enjoy. Personally, I’ve worn clothes naturally and without too much fuss for many years. So, while I don’t pursue a specific style or focus on trends or “fashionable” looks, I write articles hoping readers will understand that this is another way to enjoy fashion.
I originally started this blog out of interest in WordPress, but updates stalled midway, and I briefly strayed to platforms like Drupal. Now, I’ve returned to my roots and restarted the blog on WordPress.
The content is often crude, filled with unnecessarily long ramblings, and the articles can be hard to read. Still, I’d be delighted if you found something to pique your interest.
