    B&O Beosound Balance

Excellent network speakers for enjoying music without being aware of your equipment.

    Beosound Balance

    Introduction.

At home, there are many opportunities to enjoy music, and I wanted to enjoy music with good sound as much as possible, so I chose the Bang and Olufsen Beosound Balance to introduce this time. As it is a network speaker, I use it together with the music service on my smartphone. It plays music sources on the network instead of CDs or vinyl records, which are the conventional sources for enjoying music on an audio set, so you can enjoy music very easily. In this article, we present the Beosound Balance from Bang and Olufsen.

    Pleasant sound in space

Not only Beosound Balance, but all Bang and Olufsen products have the Active Room Compensation function, which is not affected by the conditions of the room in which it is installed, automatically detects obstacles in the space (reflections and standing wave effects) and automatically creates a frequency response to suit the space, always listening to music The sound is optimised for the room. I forget the model number of their flagship speaker Beolab, which was launched in 2003 or so, but it was a hot topic at the time and I was surprised when I saw and listened to the actual product. I remember being surprised when I saw and listened to the actual product.

I have owned Bang and Olufsen products in the past and still use them occasionally. I own a Beosound 3200, which is a CD player and radio in one, and a set of Beolab 6000 powered speakers.

    Beosound3200

The Beosound3200 and Beolab6000 are a good combination, and although I bought them more than 20 years ago, they are still useful for listening to CDs. The world of audio is a world of mass, and the pursuit of sound quality inevitably leads to large, space-consuming and mass-producing products. The big audio sets are also very attractive, and I have considered buying one a few times, but in the end the combination of Beosound 3200 and Beolab 6000 was so good that I didn’t go for a big audio set.

I know this is a bit off topic, but if you build an audio set with a set from the source to the amplifier and speakers, which is called pure audio, you can enjoy music with great sound, but if you think about it from a monitor point of view, you should decide where to place the speakers based on where the sound can be heard best, such as the listening point. Bang and Olufsen’s approach is to build a system based on the idea that you can enjoy music in the whole space, not just the monitors, so you can enjoy high-quality sound even if you place the speakers where you want them, depending on the situation in the room. You can enjoy music with high quality sound even if the speakers are placed in different positions according to the room conditions. The Bang and Olufsen system is a little rougher than pure audio in that it is installed in a way that allows you to enjoy music with high quality sound without having to think too hard about the listening point, which is a feature of Bang and Olufsen’s products.

Maximum enjoyment of music distribution services

The Beosound Balance from Bang and Olufsen, introduced here, is a recent technological innovation that allows you to enjoy high-quality sound wherever you play music in the room, without limiting where you place it, and this has been described as ‘pleasant sound in space’.

I myself am a great lover of music, and although there are times when I get carried away and times when I cool down a little, I own more than 5000 CDs (I have never counted exactly) and listen to all genres of music, from classical symphonies to small groups, solo and rock, from the 30s to the 70s. The music source for Beosound Balance is basically Deezer.

What is good about music distribution services such as Deezer is that you can easily search for the music you want to listen to, and there are a lot of music genres and tunes that are grouped together, so you can enjoy music as background music in a casual way. The sound quality is also perfect as the delivery rate is on a par with CDs, and unlike CDs and records, there is no need to search for the source, so you can enjoy music at any time.

Two Beosound Balance units are connected via stereo pairing and I use an iPhone, so I put the Deezer app on my iPhone and enjoy the music source from Deezer on the Beosound Balance stereo.

One of my Beosound Balance is Natural Oak and one is White Marble.

    Conclusion.

In this article, we have introduced the Bang and Olufsen Beosound Balance. Since it is combined with the music distribution service Deezer to create an environment where I can casually enjoy high-quality music, I have many opportunities to come into contact with music in my daily life, sometimes as background music and sometimes in a serious way to enjoy music by listening to the instruments and voice sounds, following each one of them one by one.

The speakers are multi, tweeter 1, full range 2, woofer 2 speaker configuration and the amplifier is also multi-compatible, so the sound quality is deep, and there is enough power to sound music with a wonderful sound quality that is not inferior to full-fledged pure audio. The sound quality is also very deep and the power is ample.

Although it is a small speaker, the bass is tight and it sounds with a solid mass, so the outline of the sound is not blurred, the mid-range with a sense of mass and the clear treble are well balanced, and the initial rise of voice and musical instruments is quick and you can also enjoy pleasant attack sounds.

I find them very useful as they are easy to use and provide high sound quality suited to my environment.

    Shop.

I bought my Beosound Balance at Bang & Olufsen’s Seibu Shibuya shop. Not only the Beosound Balance I purchased, but also a full range of speakers from the large Beosound 50 to smaller ones, earphones and headphones, and a TV demo, so you can experience the world of Bang & Olufsen as a whole.

The shop is located in the Seibu Shibuya shop, and the shop staff are courteous and take their time to explain and listen to the products, so you will be able to choose products that will satisfy your needs. They can also help you coordinate the system with your interior design, so even if you have a product you like, but find it difficult to think about the installation and system, you can consult with them without worry.

Recently, networking has become a problem, and you may be concerned about the hassle of setting up your smartphone, but the staff at this shop will support you in setting up the apps, so I think you will be satisfied not only with the purchase, but also with how you use the system afterwards.

I also asked Bang & Olufsen Seibu Shibuya to repair the CD pick-up and motor drive of my Beosound 3200, which I have used for more than 20 years, but it has been a long time since it was discontinued and there was no parts supply, so I was thinking what to do. They are now dealing with the problem. They are also an excellent manufacturer that takes responsibility for the products they have sold in the past, and the Japanese staff involved in the project are very good.

I am impressed by the attitude of Bang & Olufsen and its staff, who take it for granted that old machines are not disposed of but repaired and used carefully, which is in line with what is being said these days about sustainability.

I have purchased the Beosound Balance, Beoplay EQ earphones and H95 headphones from Bang & Olufsen’s Seibu Shibuya shop. Whenever I purchase any product, I am treated with the same courteous customer service.

The earphones and headphones are also excellent and we hope to introduce them in a separate article.

    Belts

Considering belts to go with jeans

    belts
    belts

I wear jeans for the majority of my casual style. Here are some belts to wear with jeans.

    HENRY CUIR belts.

Henri Cuir’s belts are quite thick with stitching throughout and brass buckles. Due to the belt’s width, it can only be used with jeans with thick belt loops, but it is a favourite belt that has a great presence and accentuates the waist area. HENRY CUIR is no longer a brand, but it was named after the founder himself, HENRY BEGUELIN. BEGUELIN (he was not involved), which bears the name of the founder himself, continues to be a brand.

    HENRY CUIR and 501XX 54's.
    HENRY CUIR and 501XX 54’s.

    HTC belts.

This is the HTC belt that took the world by storm in the early 2000s. I loved this belt and at one time had three in rotation, but the one I have on hand now is a simple one with a leather strap decoration. I used to own one but gave it away to a younger colleague, and I enjoy wearing it with Levi’s and Lee jeans. At one time they were carried in select shops, but it’s a pity that I haven’t seen them recently

    Belts by Brunello Cucinelli

Brunello Cucinelli belt with tip, commonly known as “Puntale”. By making it a little longer and wearing it without putting the tip through the loop, the belt hangs downwards, which gives it an exquisite accent and a stylish atmosphere. There are many opportunities to wear it with Brunello Cucinelli jeans and trousers, but it is also an excellent styling accent for Levi’s and Lee, making it useful. It is also a great style for Brunello Cucinelli suits and is often worn by staff.

The belt is a "Puntale" belt with a tip.

    Real McCoy’s Bens leather belt.

This orthodox belt is just the right thickness and colour to make it a good, easy-to-use belt that goes well with any jeans. While the design is plain, the skin is made of high-quality cowhide, making it a strong and supple belt. It is light brown, so there are many opportunities to match it with darker jeans such as rigid.

    Boncoura
    Real McCoy and Boncuora66

This section presents belts to be worn with jeans. It is interesting to try out different types of belts, as even rather flashy designs look good with jeans. The HENRY CUIR belt I introduced first is too wide and won’t fit through anything but old Levi’s belt loops, so I use it exclusively with older models such as the 501XX and 502. Brunello Cucinelli belts are best worn with the same Brunello Cucinelli jeans. The design of the belts, including the belt width, is such that they match with suits, etc., making them the top maison’s belts.

We are introducing belts this time, but we would like to introduce accessories other than belts in another article if there is an opportunity.

  • MBT HURACAN

    MBT HURACAN

Excellent training gear to squeeze out excess fat behind the body.

    MBT HURACAN.
    MBT HURACAN.

    Introduction.

I, too, am over 50 years old and my body is gradually deteriorating, and I am particularly concerned about my stiff shoulders, known as “50 shoulders”. In addition to stiff shoulders, my neck and head sometimes feel heavy and I try to do light exercise to relieve these symptoms.

The root cause is poor blood circulation, so I have a habit of light running and walking to promote blood circulation and improve cardiopulmonary function, and I wear my long-time favourite MBT shoes.

    The Masai way of walking

MBT is an acronym for “Masai Barefoot Technology”, which is based on research into the Maasai way of walking, and the shoes are made in such a way that you can experience the Maasai way of walking by wearing them.

The Maasai have good style, beautiful posture and extraordinary physical ability, so for a while it was fashionable for sports and food manufacturers to study their lifestyle and incorporate it into their products. In reality, they are a grazing tribe who raise cattle on the land of Africa, so it is not realistic to imitate their lifestyle in Western Europe or Japan, but I think that people in modern Japan can also benefit from it by adopting a little of what the Maasai normally do, which is to walk and run barefoot on the land.

MBT shoes are basically walking shoes, with rounded soles, so that when you put them on, you naturally walk in a balancing posture, as they are not stable back and forth. This stimulates not only the legs for walking, but also the abdominal and back muscles, which naturally stimulates the muscles, prevents back pain and provides light training. This structure allows the user to experience the movements of the Maasai as they walk on the African land.

    Actual use

One of the tips for using MBT shoes effectively is to walk in such a way that the soles of the shoes roll firmly. Walking in such a way that you kick the ground with your toes while rolling the soles on your heels, you use the rounded soles of your shoes and stimulate the muscles in your abdomen, back and backside of your body, which are difficult to use when you walk normally.

I have been using them since 2011,so I have been using them for 12 years now.
At first, for the purpose of walking, I used it in the form of walking about 10 km, but in the first two weeks, I lost about 4 kg of weight. After that, we are not satisfied with just walking and mix in some light running. The first 2km is a warm-up walk, gradually increasing the pace, drinking a bottle of sports drink and then running lightly. I run at a light pace, then walk slowly for the last 2km to cool down and continue every day.

This mix of running will help you lose another 6 kg or so over the next four weeks, and since it takes about one and a half hours, you can either get up early in the morning or go at night and do it for a while.
Such a pace of light walking and running, no longer daily but still about three days a week, has established a habit in me.

When I resumed running, I was told by the shop that running shoes were now available and I am currently using MBT running shoes.

My pace is also time-sensitive, so I run about 6km out of 7km and walk about 1km when I feel the load on the way.

    Conclusion.

In my own way, when I try to organise how I use MBTs and the reasons for their effectiveness, I find that MBTs have a function of roundness and cushioning at the bottom, and the sensation of opening my toes to catch the ground, which is basically walking, but if I replace this with running, every step of running becomes a feeling of doing a light thigh lift. If you run 3km, with a stride of 1m, you are doing 3,000 thigh lifts. 3,000 thigh lifts is a huge amount of exercise, so it’s no surprise that you lose weight.

The roundness of the sole and the balance of the cushioning naturally create a posture that prevents the upper body from shaking, which stimulates the muscles behind the hips and lower back and burns excess fat. This leads to things like the successful removal of fat from the backside of the body.

My training methods in my article are in a form that suits me and not all people, and the load is higher than normal walking, which can cause muscle damage, so I recommend each person to train in a form that suits them.

    MBT HURACAN.
I’m fiddling with my phone to take photos, but don’t use your phone while exercising, it’s dangerous
    MBT HURACAN.
Whether walking or running, light stretching before and after running can change the strain on the body.

Whether walking or running, light stretching before and after running can change the strain on the body.
When I started 12 years ago, my aim was to squeeze my body a bit, but now my aim is to improve my body’s blood circulation and cardiopulmonary function. This has alleviated my shoulder stiffness and has led to a physical lightness in my body that I can feel.
After many years of use, I know the routine and effectiveness of light training with MBT shoes, so I always have them, and if I have time, I do it every day, and when I’m free, I start again from the basics.

    Shop.

I buy my MBT shoes from MBT Walk-Style Jiyugaoka.
The owner of MBT Walk-Style Jiyugaoka is a friendly woman who will help you choose the right shoes for you and give you a detailed lecture on how to use them. There is a wide range of shoes for both men and women, including not only training shoes but also those for commuting to work, so you can easily incorporate training into your daily life. The owner also holds regular walking events, with many participants, so it is recommended for those who want to actually purchase the shoes, learn how to use them and experience the benefits.
The shop is located a short walk from Jiyugaoka station in the quiet Okusawa area, so why not take a look at the shop on your days off with your wife?
As an aside, not only MBT shoes, but also a full range of walking-related goods are available, including fashionable and functional sports masks, and a good-sized backpack and other small items.

Jeans with a modern interpretation of workwear from the era of steam locomotives in 19th and early 20th century Britain.

    TENDER Co.130 UNBORN TAPERD JEANS

    Introduction.

I love straight jeans and Levi’s 501s are my basic jeans, but I wanted to try a slightly different pair of jeans, so I got a pair of TENDER Co.130 UNBORN TAPERD JEANS. It is a maniacal and particular jeans made in the motif of the work clothes of denim at the time when it began to be made in the industrial revolution period in Britain though it is denim with a strong habit that colour migration is quite intense and colour migration is done to white clothes if it does not wash several times.

These jeans are made on the assumption that they are to be worn rolled up, and these roll-ups are double, which is a strong habit of these jeans, but they are interesting jeans full of particularity that you will become attached to when you actually wear them and will not want to let go of them.

19th century workwear as you’ve seen it in black and white photos

Jeans were originally made as workwear. The image of jeans in Japan is that of American jeans, with Levi’s and Lee jeans being so famous that there is no one who doesn’t know about them.

The image of Levi’s 501 is immense, and when we think of the shape of jeans, we think of the 501 shape, but the image of Levi’s straight jeans has been designed since the 501XX and the 201, which was made as work clothes for early ranches and other places. The image of the more relaxed jeans of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century is not so much.

The TENDER Co.130 UNBORN TAPERD JEANS introduced this time are made with the motif of the period when jeans were normally used as workwear in the 19th and early 20th century. The makers are British, so the jeans are made with the same attention to detail as the workwear worn by people running steam-powered machines and steam locomotives after the Industrial Revolution.

TENDER Co.130 UNBORN TAPERD JEANS Features,

Heavyweight 16-ounce fabric, dark indigo dyeing that is almost black, but with a strong colour shift because no anti-fade measures are taken, button fly, but with fewer buttons than usual, stitches and sewing with no white dyed thread, double or triple stitching instead of single stitching for reinforcement purposes, and a hip pocket that is lower than usual.

The silhouette is also made with a deep inseam, a slightly thicker tapered line, a longer length, and is made to be worn with a double roll-up.
This construction gives the jeans a unique texture and silhouette reminiscent of jeans from the 19th and early 20th century when they were used as workwear.

The joys of wearing British workwear from the Industrial Revolution

One of the reasons I enjoy wearing TENDER Co. 130 UNBORN TAPERD JEANS is that I have a longing for old-fashioned attire that I have seen in movies. When I actually wear them, they are full of functional beauty as work clothes made in that era, and I get attached to the forms and details born from that necessity, and I feel an attraction like a sense of superior tools.

When I think about wearing them as fashion, they have an image of having strong habits with their characteristic forms, such as a silhouette with a slightly wide tapered leg, dark indigo close to black and a wide double hem, but you can enjoy them in the same way as wearing other jeans with just a T-shirt and trainers.

They also go well with military items, which I like, and you can enjoy wearing them with the relaxed shape of military items. By wearing the TENDER Co. 130 UNBORN TAPERD JEANS with an orthodox combination of a T-shirt, jeans and trainers, you can enjoy a wide range of combinations that are not limited to the clothes you wear with them, They are a fun pair of jeans to wear because they have a different appeal to other jeans.

Reaffirm the appeal of tucking a T-shirt into jeans you haven’t done for years.

Jeans have a habitual form, but the combination of tucking in a T-shirt and making use of this habit by showing the form around the waist is unexpectedly attractive.

When I think about it, I used to wear jeans in such a way that the crotch part of the jeans was hidden because of its charm, but by wearing TENDER Co.130 UNBORN TAPERD JEANS, I am thinking that I should try tucking in a T-shirt when I wear other jeans. Being able to reconfirm such new attractions is also an event that I have noticed by wearing TENDER Co.130 UNBORN TAPERD JEANS.

As the colour migration is very strong, you need to be careful not to match them with light-coloured T-shirts until they have been washed several times and the colour migration has stopped, or to avoid colour migration on car seats, sofas, etc. Despite these precautions, they are still very attractive jeans.

TENDER is a British brand by William Kroll.
The jeans which Mr. William Kroll made with care and which were made in the motif of the work clothes of the Industrial Revolution period become the TENDER Co.130 UNBORN TAPERD JEANS introduced this time.

    Details.

    • Moderate tapered line, thicker at the withers and tapering to the hem
    • Stitches are white without dye, double or triple depending on the area.
    • Deep inseam but high at the waist, with lower pockets for a longer leg.
    • Longer length, with a wide, double-hemmed, rolled-up hem.
    • Buttons and rivets are also made to our own particular specifications.

    Combinations.

    • Black T-shirt : TOM FORD
    • Field jacket : M47
    • Denim : TENDER Co.130 UNBORN TAPERD JEANS
    • Hat : Ten-C
    • Watch : Rolex Sub Mariner 1680(1972)
    • Sunglasses : Ray-ban WAYFARER 90’s(BAUSCH+LAMB)
    • Belts : The Real Mccoy’s
    • Shoes : New Balance 1700

    Conclusion.

TENDER Co.130 UNBORN TAPERD JEANS, which I purchased because I wanted jeans like the old work clothes you see in the movies, become a particular pair of jeans with a lot of charm when you actually wear them. The length specification and the heavy ounce, the dark indigo dyeing that causes colour migration, etc. seem to have strong habits, but they are tolerant of the clothes you wear them with, and they are excellent jeans that add a twist to your T-shirt, trainers and jeans style, even though they are normally worn with jeans. The double roll-up is a great way to add a twist to your jeans.
As a side note, the double roll-up is a story that cowboys used to put cigarettes and matches in the inner folds and cigarette butts in the outer folds when they smoked while riding their horses at the time. Such historical episodes are also anecdotes that make these jeans enjoyable.

    Introduction.

Boncoura jeans were the catalyst for my rekindling of fashion fever as I entered my fifties, and the purchase of Boncoura 66s reaffirmed my interest in jeans and led to my current search for 501XXs and other styles.

The jeans of Boncoura which made up the ideal jeans by being familiar with vintage 501 and understanding both good and bad. 66 is a jeans with a standard tapered line that goes well with any outfit. This time it is an introduction of “66”.

First bought rigid denim without a reason

In my late 40s, my interest in fashion waned and I had more and more opportunities to go to the countryside to look after my parents, so I naturally spent my days wearing easy sportswear for a while.

    At first, I bought easy one-size-fits-all cut-offs.

Then I look for a plain pocket T-shirt to wear in the summer. I find a shop with an interesting selection and visit the shop. At Post78, I buy a selection of Camber pocket T-shirts in different colours. I have a chat with the owner of the shop and ask him to show me some of the interesting products on display. Among them, there are several kinds of cut-off denim. The cut-off denim I have has become quite painful, so I ask the owner about cut-off denim and he recommends it, so I buy Boncoura’s rigid cut-off denim.

Post78 suggests that I buy one size larger, 32inch, so that I can wear it comfortably for my first purchase. The denim is rigid and Post78 gives it a one-wash and dry to prevent it from shrinking and changing size. The owner tells me many stories about Boncoura’s products, and his particulars are interesting and make me interested in Boncoura’s products. The cut-off denim I bought is very useful together with the Camber pocket T-shirt I bought because of its rigid denim-like texture and ease of use.

As I originally love jeans, I also recommend denim for the autumn/winter season, so I go into early autumn and buy Boncoura 66. The owner suggests that I choose one size larger, 32inch, with a tapered line 66, so that I can wear them comfortably on a daily basis. At first, because it is rigid, colour shift and hardness are a little concerned, but the more I put it on, the more it fits to the body, very comfortable to put on, and the frequency of use is also high and it plays a great role. I wear them for everyday use without thinking much about colour fading, but I feel the fun of jeans by wearing them.

It is my vice that I felt the interest of jeans by wearing rigid 66s, but jeans fever is rekindled and I am interested in original Levi’s 501 66s, Big-E and XXs. I started to look into the details, production dates and stories of the original 501s, which I had never been interested in before, and I started to see the original 501s that I wanted to wear.

When I buy a pair of 501XXs, I am particular about the size and choose a size 30inch, which is the perfect size. I used to think that just-size 501s would be difficult to wear because I used to wear slightly loose-fitting sizes, but when I actually tried them on, they were comfortable and styled well and my jeans size perception changed a little, and I changed my habit of wearing just-size jeans rather than wearing one-size larger jeans loosely. It changes my habit of wearing jeans that are just the right size rather than one size too big and loose.

I got hooked on the fun of vintage jeans with the 501XX I bought, and after that I got another pair of 501XX, Lee 101Z and other vintage jeans, which I love to wear.
It is one of the pleasures of vintage jeans to keep them in good condition, and to maintain the exquisite colour and texture as much as possible over the years, it is better not to wash them as much as possible, and there is less chance to wear them in midsummer, when they get dirty with sweat. Therefore, we think about buying some jeans to wear in midsummer.

Among them, I liked Boncoura’s 32inch 66s, so I go to Post78 and try on the 30inch 66s in just the right size. When I try them on, the size is just right and the originally beautiful tapered line makes my legs look even more beautiful. The size is perfect, so I buy it on the spot.

The Boncoura 66 I bought in this way will be the Boncoura 66 I introduce this time.

Real vintage with attention to detail and a good size that anyone can enjoy

I didn’t think too much about the first pair of 66’s I bought, 32inch, but the colour of the rigid was good and the size was loose and very easy to wear. The knowledge of the details that I acquired when I bought 501XX made me realise the quality of Boncoura’s 66’s and the care that goes into making them.

The manufacturing process, indigo colour, dyeing, stitching and use of yellow and orange, and leather patches are also authentic leather patches. In addition, there is sticking to details such as buttons and rivets, and all the exclusive ones are prepared, and sticking to the production of making it with the new one improved from the viewpoint of Boncoura from the vintage 501 which is respected comes into view.

When you buy Boncoura 66 of the just size and put it on, you can understand well the goodness of the shape that the particularity to the making has sublimated.

The tapered line is exquisite and the way the crease enters is beautiful (the position where the crease enters is where you want it to be, based on the idea of denim mania-like colour fading).

The wrinkles are very well calculated in terms of the styling (from a fashion point of view, if the wrinkles are placed here, the legs will visually look slimmer and longer).

At my height, the length is just right, and I can wear them rolled up or not, and both look very cool together.

I can easily wear them one size up without losing styling, and they look very nicely styled in a true-to-size version. The design of this area is made so that anyone can enjoy the world of authentic, vintage 501s from new, with a wide frontage and beautiful styling even if the size changes depending on the body shape.

I myself have never worn vintage rigid (new) denim, so this is a story from my imagination, but the Boncoura denim introduced this time was made with the idea that if there had been new rigid denim back then, it would have looked like this, and by wearing it and loving it for a few years, you will be able to enjoy the world of vintage 501s.

The brand is made with a particular focus on size and design, so that many people can enjoy the fun of aging like vintage Levi’s denim. This is what I think of as real vintage, a dream come true for vintage clothing lovers who dream of making their own vintage jeans by buying them new and ageing them in the same way that vintage jeans age, which cannot be reproduced, This is the reason why I love Boncoura products, not only jeans.

I’m introducing the 66 this time, but the XX is also very attractive and I hope to introduce it on another occasion.

    Examples of wear

I have only washed them once, so they are almost brand new. The colour fading and so on is still to come, so I would like to introduce them again when they get a good texture by wearing them.

I am familiar with vintage 501s through love and years of use, I know the good and the bad, and while I am thoroughly particular about every detail to realise the dream of vintage clothes lovers who want to wear vintage jeans from new, I also know that they can be enjoyed by everyone, These are excellent jeans that can be enjoyed by everyone from vintage clothing lovers to those who are not so particular but want to try on cool jeans.
The jeans of Boncora can be enjoyed for a long time as the colour fades and you can enjoy the vintage denim for yourself. The products other than jeans are also made with a special attention to detail that will make you groan if you like American vintage clothing, and I am also a big fan of the clothes that Boncora develops.
This time, I’m introducing tapered jeans, but I also own chinos, sweatshirts, fisherman’s jumpers, white denim and black denim, which I hope to introduce at another time.

Excellent straight denim, respecting vintage Levi’s, but with just the right amount of distance.

    Introduction.

Japanese craftsmanship is excellent, high quality is a matter of course, and this quality is reflected in clothing that respects vintage. The CIOTA Tapered 5 Pocket Pants (Real Indigo) introduced here are straight jeans with a tapered shape, reflecting the taste of the 66th period in 501. The indigo dye is carefully selected and the just finished texture of the moderately worn 66 model of 501 is well expressed.

The blue The color fading of indigo is so particular that you can’t tell the difference from 501XX when you take a picture, and they have a world view that allows you to wear vintage jeans in good condition without feeling self-conscious about it.

It’s important to be able to wear them without feeling self-conscious

The staff at the shop who introduced me to the CIOTA Tapered 5 Pocket Pants (Real Indigo) gave me a detailed explanation of the product, and told me that although they are particular about the CIOTA brand’s product creation and concept, they don’t show that particularity too much, and that it’s important to be able to wear them without feeling self-conscious in the current climate. I was convinced when I saw the products lined up in the shop.

I heard that CIOTA products such as CIOTA Tapered 5 Pocket Pants (Real Indigo) are inspired by the fashion that students and young people used to wear in the mid-80s, so in addition to the jeans introduced here, there are also cotton poplin white shirts, unlined navy blue cotton jackets, and a few other items. In Popeye magazine at that time, the style of Levi’s 501, white shirt, navy blue blazer and tassels was introduced, and I remember that the symbol of this was Paul Weller. At that time, 501s were either new or second-hand (vintage without the awareness of being vintage), and I remember wearing 501s with a different sense of value than today, when 501s have antique value and people are aware of the differences in manufacturing from one era to the next.

I can understand why the fashion industry chose 501 straight jeans as a new alternative to the hippie culture in the 70s, when flares and bootcuts were in full swing, when I look back on those days.

CIOTA Tapered 5 Pocket Pants (Real Indigo), while putting elements such as the indigo dyeing of the 501 in a very maniacal way, by making a product with the theme of the time when the details of the 501 were not considered so important, if you look closely you can see that there are elements that were particular everywhere. The jeans have an interesting structure that makes you unaware of the fact, even though there are elements that are particular about the jeans when you look closely.

This gives the impression of vintage jeans that can be worn without hesitation and are actually in good condition.

I don’t mind washing them, I normally wear them in summer too, and they are very frequently used jeans. I say that you can wear them without any fuss, but they look very cool when you wear them, and when I saw myself wearing them during the photo shoot this time, they are nice jeans that are comparable to 501XX and Lee 101Z.

    • Sunglasses : Ray-ban WAYFARER 90’s(BAUSCH+LAMB)
    • Belts : The Real Mccoy’s

    Conclusion

It is not the famous Levi’s or Lee, not a foreign brand, but a small Japanese brand that makes the most of the goodness of Japanese craftsmanship, and while respecting the past history, it is updated in a modern way, and while the designer’s stance is particular about the production, it is a brand with a good sense of comfort that can be worn without being overbearing.

CIOTA Tapered 5 Pocket Pants (Real Indigo), made with a moderate vintage taste that can be worn without being overbearing, are excellent jeans that can be worn on a daily basis without worrying about washing in the summer as the special vintage jeans element is not put too far forward.

CIOTA has developed clothes that can be worn without hesitation, using the icons of American vintage clothing, such as T-shirts, shirts, jackets and parkas, with CIOTA’s unique and moderate relaxed style, and not putting too much emphasis on the details while being particular about the production as with jeans.

We make excellent clothes for a wide range of uses, from shopping in the neighbourhood to going out on ordinary outings.

    Shop

The CIOTA Tapered 5 Pocket Pants (Real Indigo) were introduced and purchased at a select shop called TF in Tokyo. The concept behind the selection of products is “everyday clothes that can be worn without being over-ambitious”.

The shop is located along a reasonably wide sidewalk, so you can enjoy shopping in a relaxed atmosphere that is not the crowded and chaotic atmosphere of the city.

The shop staff are friendly and have a good sense of style, and since the shop is not that big, they are very particular about the products in the shop and explain them in detail when you ask them about any of the products. The products look like ordinary items but are made with great care, and when you take them in your hands and try them on, you will be convinced that you have the right kind of product.

The products handled are mainly from Japan, and while basic, they are also particular and twisted, and no matter which clothes you choose, there is a sense of understated good taste, making it a recommended shop for those looking for everyday wear with good taste that does not stand out too much.

In addition to the CIOTA jeans and hoodies introduced here, I have bought CIOTA white shirts, navy blue jackets, a special order light brown suede Chambord by Paraboot and SUNY glasses.
The staff also told us an interesting episode about the origin of the shop’s TF name: the tenant before the shop moved in was a tofu shop.

    Perforated Suede Sneakers

Perforated Suede Sneakers : Brunello Cucinelli

    Introduction.

I haven’t worn white leather trainers for a while, but the staff at the Brunello Cucinelli Ginza shop recommended them to me, and when I tried them on, they were comfortable, the style is closer to leather shoes than trainers, and I would like to introduce these perforated suede trainers that expanded the range of my jeans style.

    Unlikely, matte-textured white trainers

The staff at the Brunello Cucinelli Ginza shop asks me to try out a pair of trainers they recommend for this season. The recommended trainers are the perforated suede sneakers introduced here.
I try them on immediately. The sole is made of natural rubber and is very soft, and the upper is made of high quality suede with perforations for summer wear, which is breathable, light and comfortable to wear.

The perforated suede gives the trainer a matt look, which, combined with the carefully crafted natural rubber sole, gives it a classic look. At first glance, it looks like a classic white trainer, but it is a style like no other. At the time of the fitting, I was wearing a 502, so the length is just right for a trainer and works well with the damaged and faded 502.

The craftsmen spend a lot of time and effort in making these trainers, which is the good and interesting thing about Brunello Cucinelli, so the trainer motif is tailored in a way that makes them look like fine quality leather shoes.

Comparing the comfort of the perforated suede trainers and the suede penny loafers I have, the perforated suede trainers have the feel of heavy leather shoes, while the suede penny loafers are light like sneakers.

This feel is also present in the style, with the perforated suede sneakers having a somewhat leather shoe-like solidity when worn with Brunello Cucinelli slim-fit jeans. The width and instep height of the sneaker are kept low and elongated, while the toe is moderately rounded, giving the nose a solid volume and presence while maintaining a clean silhouette. By doing this, the trainer has a somewhat leather-like styling and a sense of weight.

The slim-fit jeans of Brunello Cucinelli naturally have a wide range of combinations that can be enjoyed, from straight jeans with lengths such as 502 and 501XX 55model that match trainers, to cut-off denim, and even stylish combinations with shorts. The Brunello Cucinelli Ginza shop staff actually wear these trainers with their suits in a very stylish way.

    Details.

    • Fabric flat strap closure
    • Leather lining.
    • TPU rubber outsole
    • TPU rubber sole
    • Removable sole.
    • Genuine leather Perforated in high-quality suede.
    • Craftsman tailoring like a leather shoe, despite being a sneaker.

    Conclusion.

I used to like white trainers, but I haven’t had a chance to wear them for a while. Wearing trainers was intended to be relaxed and casual, and the white trainers I wore in the past were used for that purpose. The perforated suede trainers introduced here add a quality, heavy feel to a relaxed casual style. The production of these sneakers is made with the same care and attention as that of high-quality leather shoes, and they are a unique and excellent Brunello Cucinelli style trainer. It is a sneaker that I would like to recommend to those who want to enjoy trainers but want a balance that is not too casual and those who want to try really high-quality leather trainers.
