Boncoura jeans were the catalyst for my rekindling of fashion fever as I entered my fifties, and the purchase of Boncoura 66s reaffirmed my interest in jeans and led to my current search for 501XXs and other styles.

French military clothing with a different appeal to American military clothing.
When it comes to vintage military clothing, American military wear is first on the list.
The M35 and M38 motorcycle jackets adopted by the French military and the M47 introduced here are famous when it comes to European military wear. The M47 field jacket, which was adopted in the 1950s, is introduced here.
The M47 is more famous for its cargo pants than for its field jackets, and although there are anecdotes from Margiela, it is understandable that they are popular as they are very good cargo trousers that are also compatible with the trendy loose fit. This time, it is not trousers that are introduced, but field jackets that are the jacket.
France, which was exhausted by the Second World War, received assistance from the USA and provided military equipment. At the time, the American military uniform was the M43, and the French military uniform, influenced by the M43, was the M47.
